After a traditional breakfast and a short trek briefing, begin ascending through trails surrounded by cloud forests, crystal-clear rivers, and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the valley.
Along the way, discover the biodiversity and rural traditions of Colombia’s coffee region while trekking through spectacular Andean scenery. Lunch is served in the mountains before continuing toward La Argentina farm.
By late afternoon, arrive at the traditional mountain farmhouse where you’ll enjoy a local dinner, freshly brewed coffee, and an authentic Colombian mountain experience.

As you gain elevation, the cloud forest gradually gives way to vast páramo landscapes, alpine wetlands, giant frailejones, and colorful volcanic terrain.
This rarely visited region offers some of the most spectacular high-altitude scenery in Colombia.
If weather and physical conditions allow, reach the summit of Paramillo del Quindío at 4,750 meters with panoramic views over Nevado del Tolima, Santa Isabel, and Ruiz volcanoes.
After descending, arrive at La Primavera farm where you’ll spend the night surrounded by the silence and isolation of the Colombian Andes.

During the descent, stop at the famous House of Hummingbirds where you can observe these fascinating birds up close in their natural environment.
